This year, despite the fire ban Prescott is currently in, the fireworks show will be held at Watson Lake (which will hopefully help minimize fire risks having the fireworks take place over the lake itself).

The road will reopen as soon as the area is safe for traffic. parking is available at Pioneer Park, with free shuttles running to the event, between 2 p.m. until 11:45 p.m.
  • Watson Lake is closed for the entire day, due to preparations for the event.

Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Parade:

When: Saturday, July 6th from 9am to 12 pm.

It’s not a real Prescott holiday celebration if there isn’t a parade to go along with it. This parade, of course, takes place in downtown Prescott and is to celebrate the fourth of July holiday. Come out with your family and friends to enjoy the Independence Day parade, have good food and drinks around downtown, and appreciate one of our quaint little town’s oldest traditions.
