Country Living magazine recently named Prescott, AZ one of America’s 23 best Small Towns for Christmas. Dubbed “Arizona’s Christmas City” in 1989 by then Governor Rose Mofford, Prescott boasted a number of events to usher in the holidays.
In the mid-1950’s the tradition of the Courthouse Lighting began and in the early 1980’s the annual Christmas Parade, and the popular Acker Night Musical Showcase began.
